GENERAL GUIDELINES:                                                 

Disclaimer for Safety Considerations

• Participants must wear jeans/long pants provided with safety gear.
• Participants must wear closed-toe shoes. No open sandals/crocs. (no open back)
• Safety and protective gear, tools/weapons, clean-up & disposal provided by The Smash Lab.
• Personal items & B.Y.O.Breakables must be approved by The Smash Lab.
• Pregnant woman and intoxicated people may not participate in The Smash Lab activities.

RULES FOR THE SMASH LAB BOOKINGS:

Cancellations/Refunds/Reschedules:

• No refunds, but we will happily change your booking to a time that suits you, subject to availability.
• All participants MUST arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time in order to get signed up and prepped for their activities.
• Anyone arriving more than 10 minutes past the beginning of their dedicated time slot may have to forfeit their scheduled experience and will NOT be refunded.
• The rules apply to all the activities (The Smash Lab, Maniaxe, Splatter Spatter and RC Construction Zone) of The Smash Lab.
• Walk-in participants are welcomed but cannot guarantee an open spot and will only be added in when we have an open time slot and available supplies.
• We will not hold time slots for non-paid activities who call ahead of time.
• Once booked and paid, walk-ins will need to get signed in and prepped for their Smash Lab Experience 10 minutes before their assigned time slot.

Rules for B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Breakables)

• Please call 0768053698 ahead of time if you want to check on any questionable items for approval. See item descriptions on The Smash Lab page for what items are generally included in a package so you can compare them to what you would like to bring. All items will be checked before use in The Smash Lab.
• If your items are not approved ahead of time and any are unacceptable, you can either buy more items from us or go ahead with the items you have that are approved.
• You should be able to carry your own box and are allowed to bring a large item in place of a box if it is something you can carry in.
• Additional boxes may be brought for an extra fee of R200 each.
• NO items may be brought on our prohibited list: CRT TV’s/monitors, cooling devices, light bulbs, pressured cans or any dangerous items. Please remove all batteries from laptops and electronics so that we don’t risk a fire hazard.
